Come and Join us in the picturesque city of Belleville, Ontario for a fun-filled summer of dancing! The region boasts white sand beaches, Sandbanks Provincial Park, the promenade along the Bay of Quinte and activities such as the Prince Edward County Taste Trail, the Jazz Festival, professional theatre events, arts festivals and more.
The Quinte Ballet School of Canada's Summer Dance programme will operate from July 4, 2010 to July 30, 2010. There are two programmes: the Professional Intensive Programme and the Open Programme. Students in both programmes are taught by the same artistic staff and guest teachers at the School's state-of-the-art facility.
Professional Intensive Programme
This programme is comprised of individuals who are completing the International Audition Tour in order to enter the Quinte Ballet School of Canada as a full-time professional dance student beginning in September of 2010.
Depending on the student's level of placement, classes may include: Ballet Technique, Pointe, Male Work, CentreWork/Enchainements, National, Jazz, Moderne, Spanish, Stretch & Strength, Pas de Deux and Repertoire.*

Open Programme
This programme is designed to provide an exciting, challenging and educational dance experience to students during the month of July. No audition is necessary to participate; however, students should have a minimum of two years of ballet training. Students are placed in a level determined by their age. Special guest teachers augment the School's artistic staff to provide classes in Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Hip Hop, Moderne, National (Junior), Centre Work, Spanish (Senior) and Stretch & Strength.*

Early registration for the 4 week or 2 week Programme is recommended as space fills up quickly.
Residence Accomodation
Students in both programmes stay at Albert College, a local private school, which is located in close proximity to the Ballet School. A complete staff of counselors provides supervision for the students. A well-rounded schedule of leisure activities are offered, including workshops, crafts, sports and movies.
Placement Assessments
Assessments for correct placement will be conducted within the Professional Intensive Programme on the first day, with students placed at the level appropriate to their experience.
Closing Demonstration
Students from both programmes participate in a closing demonstration which takes place on the last day of Summer School. Parents and relatives are invited to attend this demonstration which highlights class work and Repertoire learned during the month. 2010 SUMMER SCHOOL FEES (CDN $)

Open Programme (4 weeks or 2 weeks)

Payment Methods:
Four Week Students (Professional Intensive Programme)
1. Payment made in full (includes a $500.00 non-refundable deposit).
2. $500.00 non-refundable deposit due at registration or four weeks following receipt of acceptance letter with the balance due April 15, 2010.
3. If registering after April 15, 2010, payment is to be made in full upon enrolment.
Two Week Students (Open Programme)
1. Payment made in full (includes a $500.00 non-refundable deposit).
2. $500.00 non-refundable deposit due at registration with the balance due April 15, 2010.
3. If registering after April 15, 2010, payment is to be made in full upon enrolment.
All payments may be made by cash (please do not mail), cheque, VISA or Mastercard.
Fees for all programmes are non-refundable after June 1st, 2010, except with a medical certificate.
All fees are exempt from GST and PST. NSF cheques are subject to a $25.00 administrative fee.
A full information package containing waivers, checklists, activity calendars, maps, etc. will be forwarded to all students upon receipt of a completed enrollment form.
