Adult classes are open to individuals 16 and older, and offer exceptional instruction from professional teachers within climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facilities. From beginner to advanced levels, there will be something in the program for you to choose from.  Classes are interactive and a great way to stay in shape.

QREC Fall 2017-2018 Schedule



Adult Ballet 1
Beginner level class teaching classical ballet technique combined with basic barre exercises to improve posture, balance and core strengthening.
Duration:  60 minutes

Adult Ballet 2
Intermediate level for those with at least 2-3 years experience in classical ballet technique.
Duration:  90 minutes

Adult Contemporary
A basic contemporary dance technique that enhances fitness, flexibility and strength while incorporating a more organic and expressive approach to dance.  A great complement to Adult Ballet 1.
Duration:  45 minutes

Adult Tap
Covering basic tap steps and simple combinations, this class is for students from the novice to those with basic experience, and for those who haven’t tapped in years.
Enjoy light choreography, fun moves and great exercise for those gams!
Duration:  45 minutes


For those of you who really want to get out and work out but don’t always have the time to commit to the 16 week terms, QBSC offers adults only the Adult 5-pack.

$85 per 1 hour class

$75 per 45 minute class

  • Each 5-pack applies to 1 adult course
  • Non-transferrable between courses
  • $25 registration fee is charged for the 1st pack only, but not charged if already covered through a family registration
  • Subsequent 5-pack cards are $85 (1 hour class) or $75 (45 minute class)


Outfit:  Comfortable clothing such as yoga pants and t-shirts that allow you to move.  NO JEANS.  Leotards are optional for ballet classes.
Shoes:  Depending on the class, bare feet, non-skid/non-marking athletic shoes, ballet slippers.
