RECREATION DANCE ADULT CLASSES

Adult classes are open to individuals 16 and older, and offer exceptional instruction from professional teachers within climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facilities. From beginner to advanced levels, there will be something in the program for you to choose from.  Classes are interactive and a great way to stay in shape.

CLASSES

Adult Ballet 1
A beginner level class with basic barre exercises for students with no previous ballet experience.
Duration:  60 minutes


Adult Ballet 2
An intermediate level for those with 2 or more years of experience in ballet technique.
Duration:  75 minutes


Adult Modern
A fun contemporary dance technique that enhances flexibility, fitness and strength.  Uses more on-the-floor space, with movement that is expressive and creative.
Duration:  45 minutes


Adult Tap
A beginner to intermediate tap class covering basic tap steps and simple combinations, with choreography.  A great art form and exercise for those gams!
Duration:  45 minutes


Adult Resistance Barre *NEW*
Suitable for all levels of fitness/dance experience, and combining movements influenced by Ballet, Yoga and Pilates.  Exercises focus on isometric strength training and instructed by a fully certified trainer.  Resistance bands are required- please contact QBSC for details on type.
Duration:  45 minutes


ADULT 5-PACK OPTION

For those of you who really want to get out and work out but don’t always have the time to commit to the 16 week terms, QBSC offers adults only the Adult 5-pack.

$95 5-pack per 75 minute class

$85 5-pack per 60 minute class

$75 5-pack per 45 minute class

  • Each 5-pack applies to 1 adult course
  • Non-transferable between courses
  • $30 registration fee is charged for the 1st pack only, but not charged if already covered through a family registration
  • 5-Packs must be used up within the term they were purchased.

DRESS CODE

Outfit:  Comfortable clothing such as yoga pants and t-shirts that allow you to move.  NO JEANS.  Leotards are optional for ballet classes.
Shoes:  Depending on the class, bare feet, non-skid/non-marking athletic shoes, ballet slippers.
