The professional dance division students perform in two public productions each year. In December, Holiday Dance features favourite highlights from the Nutcracker ballet, danced to Tchaikovsky’s majestic score.

The second major production, Dance of Spring Showcase, is presented in early June and showcases the many genres of dance that students have studied over the past year, including ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, hip hop, flamenco and more. In addition, Dance of Spring Showcase has featured highlights from such classic ballets as Giselle, Napoli, Paquita, Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty, and works displaying the Bournonville method of ballet as taught at QBSC by guest instructor Henning Albrechtsen.
