We are so excited to begin your child’s dance journey! Our Petites program is where little dancers (ages 3–6) take their very first steps into the magical world of ballet.
✨ In our classes, dancers learn the building blocks of ballet through:
- Music & rhythm – clapping, counting to the beat, and moving in patterns of eight
- Play & games – building strength, balance, and confidence through movement
- Independence – learning how to participate on their own from day one
- Dance vocabulary & anatomy – discovering the words and body parts used in ballet
- Spatial awareness – practicing lines, group patterns, and traveling across the floor
- Movement patterns – building memory and coordination in fun, creative ways
Parent & Caregiver Guidelines
- No parents in the studio: To help dancers focus, we ask that grown-ups watch from outside. Even one friendly face at the window can distract the whole class!
- Peek inside at the right time: At the end of Terms 1 & 2, families are invited into the studio for a short “mini-performance.” In Term 3, dancers will share an extra special performance followed by a tea party.
- Transitions take time: It’s normal for little ones to need a few weeks to settle in. A quick pep talk before class, plus a confident goodbye at the door, goes a long way.
What to Wear
- Leotard: Any plain white tank-style leotard (available through our office if you’d like).
- Ballet slippers: We recommend buying slippers from us to ensure the right fit and style.
- No tights: Bare legs help dancers see how their knees and legs are working (and no itchy holes to worry about!).
- Underwear: Not needed under a leotard (like a swimsuit). If worn, please choose plain, neutral colours.
- Optional extras: A snug ballet wrap sweater for warmth, though our studios are nice and toasty.
- Hair: Pulled neatly into a ponytail or bun. Soft headbands are welcome for shorter hair.
Studio Etiquette
- Arrive with enough time for a bathroom stop before class .
- Only water bottles in the studio – no food or snacks .
- For safety, no one should enter empty studios – please wait in the lounge.
- Remember to take off outdoor shoes at the entrance .

Creative Dance: 30 mins (Age 3) ($125, per term) Tuesdays 4:15-4:45
Primary 1: 45 mins (Age 4) ($150, per term) Tuesdays 4:45-5:30
Primary 2: 45 mins (Age 5) ($150, per term) Tuesdays
